由於紗支限重量成正比例，所以可以利用天秤或電子磅來檢定紗線的細度。檢查人員首先從批核樣辦中抽出一個長度的經紗，放在天秤的一邊，然後從來布中抽出同一長度的經紗，放在天秤的另一邊。如果天秤保持平衡，這表示來布和批核樣辦的經紗支數是相同的;但如果天秤出現不平衡，這便表示兩者支數存著差異。檢查員可以重復以上辦法來檢定緯紗的細度。

The inspector can magnify the density of the cloth with a magnifying glass or cloth glass, calculate the number of warp and weft yarns in a square inch with naked eyes, and then compare the number with the specification or approval sample office to know whether the density of the incoming cloth meets the standard.
5、組織結構

跟檢查經緯密度一樣，檢查人員可以利用放大鏡或布鏡，觀察布料的平紋、斜紋、緞紋等的組織結構是否正確。重量撿查人員可以利用電子磅來檢定布料的重量，利用圓形切樣器，在每匹布料不同部位，切出一百平方厘米的標準面積，然後放在測量布重電子磅上，螢幕便立即準確地顯示該塊布料的重量。

檢查人員可以利用對色燈箱來檢定布料顏色。使用燈箱有—點須留意，這就是不論色辦或貨料，每次所用光源須一致，否則所有顏色比較都是沒意思的。

7、疵點
